Light can be purchased with either UL Certified / E26 direct hardwire for install into ceiling, or swag from ceiling E26 with a long 12ft black cord that plugs into wall socket. Toggle on/off switch.

Incandescent bulbs generate heat, 20w max if you choose this style of lightbulb. For more light, please use LED bulbs for blown glass fixtures. There is a large variety of edison style, smart and classic looking lightbulbs that are low heat LED that offer great light options without the heat factor. Due to weight of light fixture, instillation of swag hook or ceiling hardwire must be in appropriate brace / ceiling stud.
